As part of our expansion in Australia, we are looking for an UTILITIES SYSTEMS TEAM LEADER for ICHTHYS PROJECT.


To deliver the CPF in accordance with the project schedule and budget, meeting the requirements of the project in relation to safety, quality, reliability, operability and maintainability.
The IHUC Utilities Systems Leader shall ensure the ICAPS database is properly maintained and populated and that the technical databases of relevant subsystems are complete with the functional tests from all disciplines.
Responsible for coordinating the multidiscipline review and comments of the OTPs to ensure the inputs from all disciplines are implemented.
Coordinate with the commissioning discipline superintendent to ensure completion of the commissioning of the subsystems follows the sequence and priorities.
Supervise and manage team for commissioning engineering, Atshore commissioning activities and execution of the offshore commissioning activities with regards to relevant discipline.
As far as practical, focus on achieving maximum Atshore commissioning for the CPF to minimize the offshore scope of work.
Ensure the plant is commissioned in a professional manner and as per project specification (OPERCOM), in line with project schedule and priorities.
Actively demonstrates HSE leadership by taking a proactive approach in the promotion of safe working practices in line with the project aspiration, with the site teams, contractor personnel and site visitors.


During offshore Commissioning:
Promotion of HSE behavior and ensuring HSE procedures implementation by commissioning team.
Liaise with the commissioning discipline Leaders to complete the offshore commissioning of subsystems following the project schedule and priorities for handover to the operations team.
Review and check the completeness of the RFSU dossiers before its transfer to the operations team.
Expedite for timely availability the required resources (manpower, vendor assistance, commissioning spares, testing equipment, and consumables) for the tow and offshore commissioning execution.
Ensure ICAPS is updated and report progress against spent man-hours and expedite outstanding activities.
Custodian for the ?Redline Markup? masters drawings for discipline and ensure all modifications for discipline have been updated.
Review the work permits raised by team.

As technical authority, report technical problems encountered and provide technical support for the resolution of technical issues and cost efficient solutions for punch list clearance.
Prepare technical reports and presentations as required.

Risk Management
Chair job safety analysis for operational tests and activities within scope of work.
Participate in HAZID/ENVID, HAZOP?s, design reviews, constructability reviews and project reviews etc. as required.
Assist in identifying project risks and implement agreed mitigation measures as required.

Cost Reduction Initiatives
Effectively engage in business cost reduction initiatives.

Effectively communicate with relevant stakeholders relating to the ICHTHYS project, including contractors and other project entities.

Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ)
Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies, standards and procedures.
Ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times.
Participate in the client and company safety performance program.
Demonstrate HSE Leadership by actively promoting HSE and quality policy and procedures to all personnel within the work environment.
Carry out or attend JSA for critical activities.
Ensure all package designs are compliant with ?Australian Safety Case? requirements.
Ensure commissioning activity minimizes any environmental impact in line with project requirements.
Ensure that personnel working on relevant subsystems adhere to the HSE procedure in place and adheres to the safety instruction as listed in the PTW.

Proactively adheres to and promotes client and company?s workplace values and behaviours, exercising tolerance and respect for diversity.
Ensure effective coordination with all team members including all ICHTHYS project entities and if applicable PMS contractors.
Interface with the operations team for handover of the facilities.
Develop collaborative working relationships and effective communication methods across the business, inclusive of management and contractor personnel.
Interface with commissioning discipline superintendents to complete the commissioning of subsystems following the project schedule and priorities.
Ensure interfaces and requirements between FPSO, CPF, Subsea, URF, Gas export pipeline and onshore facilities are incorporated in the commissioning procedures.
Coordinate ?Third Party? inspections.
Integrate operations personnel in the operational tests of relevant subsystems for smooth handover.

Profil recherché
Qualifications & Clearance Accreditation Licenses

Mandatory Requirements:
•BOSIET – required for those involved the Tow phase
•TBOSIET – minimum requirement for those individuals mobilized post Tow phase
•Working at Heights
•Confined Space Entry

Recommended Requirements:
•Provide First Aid
•An applicable Engineering degree

Critical Skills and Capabilities
•Demonstrate a high level of awareness in safe working practices associated with the design, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and installation and hookup of offshore oil and gas facilities.
•Excellent communication and written skills (English) and ability to work with different disciplines and cultures.
•Sound knowledge of OPERCOM and ICAPS Commissioning management system.

Key Experiences Requirements
•Minimum 15 years’ experience in onshore and offshore commissioning within the oil and gas industry including working in Korea and Australia.
•Previous experience working in engineering and procurement phases.
