d2m Services is recruiting a Lead Electrical Supervisor with good knowledge of safety systems and arrangements on LNG Carriers.
Mains tasks :
? New building specification review, plan approval, Supervise installation electrical production progress, quality control, electrical material purchasing, design issues, production coordination on behalf of Owners
? Handling technical queries (and documentation requirements) related to routine service requests.
? Work closely with internal and external stakeholders and ensure project stipulated format and timeframe.
? Participating in Technical Specification negotiations with builder; makers selection; coordination and management, site office technical support.
? Arranging kick-off meeting with builder
? Review and approved the electrical drawing, SRTP drawing, LNG installation / commissioning procedure, yard workmanship.
? Attend the LNG system electrical, automation and monitoring equipment installation inspection
? Attend the LNG system commissioning
? Attend equipment F.A.T (M/E, Main generators, MSB, ESB and thruster.etc)
? Supervise the production process of E&I
? On site inspection Sea trial, FAT, HAT inspections in behalf of Owner.
? Experience with HAZID and HAZOP analysis for LNG carriers.
? Assist in other technical support duties as assigned.
? Participate in meetings (both internal and external) as required.
? Communication with clients (Class, Flag, Owners, Shipyards, ship managers and vendors,).
Possess Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Min. 10-15 years of experience, in new building Shipyards, project management marine consultancy and engineering services companies, with track experience as a New Build supervisor on behalf of Owners .
Experience with other LNG CCS would be plus
Good knowledge for sea going ships (especially LNG, LPG carriers)
Proficient in Chinese and English (written and spoken)
Proficient in technical digital tools use.
Work closely with CCS expert during the installation and testing of the cryogenic systems in line with Class/Industry rules.
